that helps in giving an insight to the women of today. It is
planning to set up a gruh-udyog for the benefit of women of the
community which is open to all women of the community.
Already having 1200 active and
hardworking members, the Samiti charges a nominal Rs 50/- annual
fee.
The Samiti's first program of the semester was a day's picnic to
Observation Point (Chhota Kashmir), Picnic Spot, Powai Garden
and Hiranandani Park where members and guests enjoyed pleasure
of various entertainment like Boating, Go-Carting and Rock
Climbing
The second program was "Andhshradha
Niwaran" where various scientific demonstrations
were held to enlighten people as to how they are cheated by so
called 'Chamatkars'.
Well known Philosopher Shri Haribhai
Kothari gave his speech on Andhashradha Niwaran and guided the
path for enlistment of women socially ,intellectually and
economically.
Next in line is a project for a gynecological camp, which will
be as well-organized and well attended as the other activities,
considering the organizing skills of the management of the
Samiti.
