It
is a registered trust and has its own constitution always
chaired by the outstanding community members of the city.
Right from the inception, this Mahajan has given the word social
welfare a different meaning. Starting from scratch, today they
have a huge "Samaj Vadi"
with a "Atithi Bhuvan"
that would be an envy of many an eye, A Bal
ashram started for the benefits of students, a "Kanya
Chatralaya" and an unending list of activities
which have helped the community to uplift and take pride in
themselves.
The Members of this Mahajan are not only serving the community
but also very actively involved in the welfare of the city too.
Most of them are serving the Nagarpalika in some capacity or the
other.
This Mahajan has parented the Mandvi
Lohana Yuvak Mandal and the Lohana Mahila Mandir and has carried
on the torch of uniting and uplifting of the community.
Giving education its due acknowledgement, the organisation
encourages students to do better by organising "Saraswati
Sanman Samarabhs" in
which they honour and encourage outstanding students of the
Taluka. They also arrange sports meets and distribute books
amongst the less fortunate.
They not only take care of their young, but equal care and
attention is also given to the older generation that has no one
to look after them. The widows and their family are given moral
as well as financial support.
They
have helped towards the building and operating of Shri RamMandir,
Pujya Ashapura Mataji Mandir and Shri Dariyalal Mandir, and
organize functions related to the same.
