We thank the Lohana
Mahaparishad, from whom we have taken the following news and events, and accredit them for the same.
Women & Law
Constituting a substantial and vital part of any society, women face innumerable challenges and difficulties in terms of injustice and discrimination across all quarters of our society. Most of the times, they are not aware of their own rights given to them by our Laws. With a view to achieving our basic ideals of Justice and fair treatment to women, a special seminar was
organised by the Sthayee Mahila Samiti of Shree Lohana
Mahaparishad.
Mrs. Bhanuben Kotak and Mrs. Naliniben Shah explained in details the legal provisions made to secure women's position in families. Our women took very keen interest in the talk, so there was a special question and answer session also.
This programme was organised in co-operation with Shree Lohana Mahila Mandal - Mumbai and Shree Halai Lohana Mahajan Sanchalit Mahila
Utkarsh.

Shree Lohana Mahaparishad Managing Committee Meeting
The

well-organised meeting where our people came from all over the country, viz.

Rajkot, Keshod, Baroda, Bargarth, Sambhalpur, Jharsugada, Calicut,
Kenjor, Calcutta, Amaravati, Akola, Indore, Jabalpur, Pali, Bhiwandi,
Vardha, Amreli, Raigadh Dhamtari, Itarsi, Jagdalpur, and of course
Bilaspur.
Also, a meeting of the Sanskrutik Samiti was held on the previous evening, where it was announced that Raghukul Sanskar Kendras should be opened at various places.
A meeting of the Mahila Samiti was also held, where the motto was to make our women
self-reliant in all spheres of life.
Our country is known for its hospitality, so it was seen and once again proved in
Bilaspur, where everything was so
well-organised. Even the Mahajans of Akola, Vardha, Amravati,
Gondia, Nagpur, Durg, Bhillai and Raipur came to receive guests with refreshments at these stations. Many many thanks to all.
