Sangeeta began her career as a journalist and tarot card reader in Mumbai and later moved on to become an IT Business Analyst based in New York.
She has contributed articles for India's best known newspapers and magazines, having written over 3000 articles and stories. Some of these include Indian Express, India Today Plus, The Hindu , Femina, Free Press Journal ,Dignity Dialogue, Marwar, Oomph, Vivaah, In Touch with Fashions, Arcade , Health Naturally, Transparent News ,indya.com, india.com, goodhealthnyou, familynyou etc .Her repertoire of work include articles on lifestyle, alternative and mainstream health, food, films Jewelry and fashion.
Later set up Dhwani, a communications consultancy firm, which was involved in event management and Public relations (Pr).The firm was involved in organizing events like fashion shows, shop openings, book readings and many corporate events besides getting media coverage for her clients. List of clients included best fashion designers (Shahab Durazi, Pria Kataria Puri, Priya Awasti, Satya Paul) Jewelry designers (Gautam Banerjee Poonam Soni, Rhea Nasta, Popley and sons), models and painters (Udayraj Gadnis), charitable foundations (Brain Tumor Foundation, FSB Aids Foundation), corporate achievers(Prakash Rohera).
She also scripted and hosted programs for Doordarshan : National channel of India She has also learnt, studied and extensively written about a lot of alternative therapies like Reiki, Massage Therapy, Aromatherapy, Bach Flower remedy, Wheat Grass Therapy, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Juice therapy and many such therapies. She conducts workshops on alternative therapies.
In 2001 she shifted to New York city where she did her MBA and started working as a Business Analyst in the big world of IT.

Late Smt Pushpa & Late Shri Arun Kooverji Karia had three children. Arun Bhai, a dynamic businessman was instrumental in setting up a huge business in the field of transport, having branches all over India .At a relatively young age of 52, mouth cancer struck him and he eventually succumbed to it at the age of 60, in the year 1999. However his arduous battle against the dreadful disease and surviving it for 8 years taught many people a lesson on how to live life fully, overcoming all odds and emerge a victor eventually. A TRUE LOHANA SPIRIT INDEED!
