A few words of wisdom
Don't forget to chose your words wisely.
An error may not be taken too lightly.
Upsetting the apple-cart the fruits will tumble,
So don't despair if the recipient does grumble.
Avoid those who are a vexation to the spirit,
Pursuing this can only be without merit.
Don't' pretend and continue yourself that
you have something to gain,
For the only path that follows is the path of pain.
Take a slice of pride and piece of cake,
What you get is not what you take.
If life is a rat-race,
You will fall if you don't set the pace.
On your marks-get set-study-go !
If you win you'll make either a friend or foe.
Losing the race is not so bad at least
you can go home and be glad,
That you lined to see the end of a race
and game no-one did you offend.
